Technical knowledge, experience and support come as standard at Euro Energy. Whether we are designing custom batteries or battery packs from scratch, picking up a failing project that had previously launched or just called on for advice on battery use, storaage or performance, our knowledgeable Technical Team are only ever a phone call away. With extensive knowledge of Lead Acid, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-Ion), Lithium Polymer and Lithium Iron/Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery chemistries and access to the widest range of cell and battery configurations (not forgetting the most appropriate chargers!) no matter what your battery or battery pack requirement, our Technical Team can provide you with a solution. See the links below for more information.
Our experienced and knowledgeable Technical team are able to provide advice and guidance to customers with any battery or battery pack related technical queries. After discussing the project requirements to understand where and how the application will be used and it’s power delivery expectation and charging method, our Technical team will begin to suggest the most appropriate chemistry for the battery or battery pack. The next consideration is battery pack configuration, including size and weight requirements to ensure that any battery or battery pack fits into the project’s design. Once these first steps are completed, designs can be provided, and specifications written, to ensure the final design meets the application criteria. Where a project requires battery compliance testing, this is also something that we can offer using our Biotrode MCV5-24. Please contact our Technical team for more information.
Where it is a requirement of the specification, battery packs can be tested to ensure conformance on a variety of test equipment. We use our Biotrode MCV5-24 channel test suite.
At Euro Energy, we consider product quality to be of the foremost importance. Our passion and commitment to quality ensures that only the highest quality batteries and battery packs are ever supplied. We are a BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 accredited supplier ensuring consistent quality of product and service. You can see our certificate by following this link.
In manufacturing our custom batteries and battery packs, we understand that finished batteries are only as good as the materials used. We use only the highest quality component cells and batteries from manufacturers such as Panasonic, Yuasa, Saft & Sanyo and our rigorous goods-in checks include battery testing before use to ensure that they fully meet specifications. Furthermore, all battery packs are built to in house produced drawings, ensuring consistency of build.
As part of our Technical responsibilities, we provide an overview of battery care for those less familiar with the product (See link above or click here to read more). Our Technical team remain up to date with any changes to battery legislation and transportation laws as well as any MHRA alerts relevant to our range of Medical Batteries, to ensure we remain compliant with the latest battery regulations and can advise our Customers of any issues they need to be aware of. Environmental issues are taken equally seriously where they relate to the supply and safe disposal of batteries. We abide by all relevant legislation and are fully compliant with the European Battery Directive 2013/56/EU and conform to the latest legislation with regard to the shipping of lithium or other hazardous material.
