Euro Energy is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high specification, special purpose batteries and accessories, used across the Medical and Industrial Sectors.  Industrial Sectors include Military, Construction, Veterinary, Oil & Gas, Marine, Subsea, Sporting and Entertainment.

The Role
 As part of the Sales & Marketing team you will be building trusting relationships with established customers and new customers alike. It is mainly an office based role requiring the successful applicant making calls to both warm and cold contacts, where every call can be different. There will also be some cold call ‘prospecting’ for new Customers under the guidance of the Sales & Marketing Manager in conjunction with the Technical Director.
There will be regular time out of office meeting Customers at their Hospital as well as attending exhibitions and conferences – some of which will require an overnight stop.
As part of a 7 person team, working as a team towards agreed set goals is a necessity, which will include providing support to the Customer Service Team, where required - answering the telephone, processing orders and ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
As the successful candidate’s skills and experience grow, there will also be the opportunity to become more involved in marketing aspects of the business.
About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess/be:-

  • Proven telephone based, business to business, sales experience
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Excellent questioning skills
  • Computer literate/keyboard skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communicator both written and face to face/verbal
  • A positive attitude to colleagues and customers
  • Focused, motivated and driven to succeed
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service
  • Confident at communicating with people at all levels
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external Customers and be self-motivated
  • Set high standards and consistently achieve them
  • Be flexible, willing and able to work extra hours from time to time as required, such as attending exhibitions and Customer visits
  • A full driving licence for this role is essential
  • Face to Face sales experience an advantage
  • Experience of SAP advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided in house
