Euro Energy – Ready to build compatible medical batteries for older equipment

As our Hospitals face the enormous challenge of beating COVID-19, a lot of equipment that had previously gone ‘End of Life’ is either being brought back into service or having its service life extended in order to provide potentially life saving care for patients infected with the coronavirus.

Older equipment that had been withdrawn from use such as ventilators, patient monitors, pulse oximeters, suction machines & syringe pumps are being cleaned down & serviced ready for patient use.

New field Hospitals – known as Nightingales – are being set up across the UK, the first one in London, with Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Harrogate, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast all to be ready for first patients very soon.

These will all need equipping with ventilators, pulse oximeters, suction machines, syringe pumps and patient monitors, some will be new and manufactured by the well known medical manufacturers, but other engineering companies have also entered this market place with Dyson, the well known vacuum manufacturer & McLaren the British motor racing team developing and building ventilators, whilst JCB – better known for its mechanical diggers – has lent its expertise in metal fabrication to create cases for new equipment.

New equipment will no doubt come with new batteries, but as older equipment is brought back into service the batteries are very often unavailable from the Original Manufacturer – so where can compatible medical batteries be purchased from?

Euro Energy – Ready to build compatible medical batteries for older equipment

Euro Energy has prioritised our NHS customers during this COVID1-19 outbreak, meaning that our stock of the various component cells (Lead Acid, Nickel Cadmium (NiCD), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)) are all solely for use in compatible medical batteries.

This also means that our entire production team are only building medical batteries, which in turn means that batteries built by Euro Energy (typically our part numbers that begin EE, CSA, CSB or are a 6 digit number) can now be turned around from receipt of order to despatch in just a couple of days – allowing our NHS Customers to have their essential life saving equipment ‘patient ready’ quickly.

We’ve already seen an increase in orders for older, legacy batteries – some we’ve not built for 5 years!

For nearly 40 years Euro Energy has been designing and building compatible batteries and compatible battery packs for use in medical equipment and we’re proud to offer the widest range of Original Manufacturer medical batteries, compatible medical batteries and Original Manufacturer Equipment accessories (ECG cables, SpO2sensors, defib pads, NiBP cuffs etc) – many of which are immediately available from stock.
