Battery Recycling
Euro Energy is registered with the Environment Agency as a Hazardous Waste Collection point, Registration number NOJ813, and with BERR as a Producer of batteries, Registration number BPRN00823.
We are a Producer of Industrial Batteries, and operate take-back arrangements for any Industrial batteries returned to us where replacements are being purchased. Additionally, we can take back any industrial battery which cannot be returned to the original supplier under certain circumstances and by prior arrangement.
We are a Distributor of Portable Batteries, which we will accept back only where it not possible for the end user to dispose of them through a Compliance Scheme.
We will make the necessary arrangements for onward shipment and recycling of any of the above, which is offered free of charge.
The person returning batteries is responsible for the cost of transportation, and to ensure their transportation meets fully with relevant Regulations, that they are adequately packed and insulated. Their Duty of Care is transferred only when the returned batteries have been accepted by Euro Energy.
