Euro Energy Enhances its Testing Capabilities

Euro Energy Resources Limited have enhanced their testing facility further by investing in a Bitrode MCV multi-station computer controlled battery testing suite. Bitrode who are based in Fenton, Missouri, in the USA, are a world-renowned manufacturer of technology based battery testing equipment with almost 50 years experience in the field.

This equipment has been added to ensure that compliance with customers’ specifications can be rigorously maintained, whatever the current or voltage requirements. It also improves our ability to respond to the challenges the battery industry faces by changing technology. As an example of this, we are able to verify the performance of Lithium Ion batteries and functioning of their Protection Circuit Modules (PCMs). This is extremely important, as Electro Static Discharge (ESD) during poorly controlled battery assembly can damage semiconductors, which form the last level of protection. The ability to test, to eliminate such problems, will give the customer the confidence that in the rare event of a catastrophic failure, the safety features will function correctly to eliminate the danger of fire.

Furthermore, customers can be assured that the capacity stated will be the minimum capacity they can expect from their battery, every time.

We are pleased to conclude that this has enabled us to maintain our position as one of the most technically capable battery manufacturers in the UK.
